What Happened When I Actually Focused on the Foundations
4 simple weeks. A massive shift in my energy, hormones, and habits.
I’ve spent years studying hormones. I know the protocols. I’ve tried the fancy supplements.
But nothing has impacted my daily life as quickly and as noticeably as going all-in on the basics—and not just physically.
A few months ago, I walked through a simple challenge I call the 4 Week Win—and honestly, it’s one of the best things I’ve done for my health, my energy, and my focus in a long time.
Here’s what it looked like:
WEEK 1: Morning Routine Reset
The program encourages you to do 4 small things each morning, something for each category. Here's what I picked:
☀️ Something physical – usually a walk or a few stretches
🙏 Something spiritual – Bible study time.
💛 Something emotional – deep breathing (ideally outside in the sunshine)
🌿 The 2-minute health boost (Vitamins, minerals & greens powder, omega-3 fatty acids & a probiotic)
Not complicated. But powerful.
WEEK 2: Focus on MITs
This week was all about clarity—identifying the four Most Important Things each day that would move my life, health, or work forward. It helped me stop the overwhelm spiral and be more present.
The result? I actually started finishing things—and I felt less frazzled because I was doing the right things, not just staying busy.
WEEK 3: Bedtime Routine Reset
I didn’t overhaul everything. I just committed to:
🌙 Actually washing my face every night.
🌿 Diffusing oils like lavender, cedarwood, and vetiver
📖 Reading something light or encouraging
😴 Aiming for lights out by 10:30 PM
My sleep got deeper, my mood improved, and I didn’t feel like I was crashing into the next day.
WEEK 4: Kick One Habit
For me, it was scrolling before bed.
Maybe for you, it’ll be caffeine after 2 PM, late-night snacking, or hitting snooze five times.
Whatever it is, letting go of just one habit gave me so much momentum and confidence.
So… what changed?
✅ I had more energy during the day
✅ I felt more emotionally steady and less anxious
✅ I was actually doing the things I knew I should do
✅ I saw real improvements in sleep, digestion, and cravings
✅ My hormones felt less chaotic
And the best part? It didn’t feel like a giant overhaul. It felt doable. Grounded. Sustainable.
Why this matters
